So the first match on Saturday is Ireland/Wales so let’s have a wee look at the captains.
Ireland: Brian O’Driscoll of Leinster.
Aged 32 he usually plays centre. He has nearly 120 caps for Ireland and has been on 3 Lions tours. Amazing player and deservedly was named Rugby World magazine’s World Player of the decade.
Wales: Sam Warburton of Cardiff Blues
Sam’s just turned 24 yesterday and he plays in the back row. He has 21 caps to his name but obviously has impressed everyone otherwise he’d not be named captain!
